Ductility is simply an ability to deform under tensile stress - there are many synthetic polymers that are able to do this - common example would be polyisobutylene, which is one of the components of chewing gum. If you put some chewed gum under tensile stress (i.e. pull it apart with your fingers) you will see that it draws down into thin "strings" of gum - that is ductility.
